We offer both armed and unarmed positions to ensure that our employees have options and can work in an environment that aligns with their personal preferences and beliefs. However, we take the safety of our employees and clients very seriously, which is why we have strict policies and protocols in place regarding the use of weapons. Our policy states that only certified security officers assigned to specific armed shifts may carry firearms or other weapons. This policy helps us to provide our employees with the necessary tools and training to perform their duties safely and effectively, while also ensuring the safety of everyone involved.
We are proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance for full-time employees, with the company contributing $400.00 per month for individuals and $500.00 per month for families. In addition, we offer low-cost dental and vision plans for our full-time employees. We recognize the importance of taking care of oneself, which is why we also offer sick pay, providing 1 hours of sick pay for every 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. Lastly, we value the referrals of our employees and offer an employee referral program that compensates individuals for referring their friends and family to our organization.
While Colorado does not have a state-wide security license requirement, there are several jurisdictions that mandate security licenses. At Code 4, we cover the cost and assist our officers in the application process of obtaining a security guard license. While not every job site will require a license, we believe that obtaining a security license in one or more licensed municipalities can open additional opportunities for our officers, and we are committed to supporting our officers in obtaining the necessary licenses to excel in their roles.

We insist on building a consistent team of officers for each job site. This is absolutely critical for enabling our staff to develop an intimate knowledge of the site’s operations and deliver unparalleled levels of service to our clients.
Our clientele spans across multiple industries, including traditional corporate settings as well as construction and energy sector sites. While we do offer security services for concerts, events, and music venues, please note that this is not a primary focus of our business.
All officers are required to complete a comprehensive training program upon hire that covers the fundamentals of being a security officer, as well as industry-recognized best practices. In addition to this foundational training, our officers receive site-specific training for each job site they are assigned to. We believe in continuous learning and development, which is why we offer bi-monthly training and development opportunities that allow our officers to continually enhance their knowledge, skills, and professionalism. We are committed to ensuring that our officers receive the necessary training and support to perform their job with the utmost skill and expertise.
At Code 4 Security, we are not bound by traditional or old-fashioned practices. Instead, we are a forward-thinking and technologically advanced organization that utilizes leading-edge technology in all areas of our business to provide our clients with the highest level of safety, oversight, transparency, and accountability. Steel-toed shoes/boots are not part of our standard uniform. However, should a jobsite require personal protective equipment (PPE) that is not included in our standard uniform, Code 4 is committed to providing the necessary gear or working with the employee to acquire it at minimal cost. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees and will spare no effort or expense to ensure that they have the necessary equipment to perform their job safely and effectively.
